Wine Labels

The concepts for these wine label designs are based on the pricing from the cheaper option to the more expensive wine. Each of these wine labels was also designed to reflect the personality and target audience of their respective categories. Dancing Diva embodies fun and energy, Masquerade gives off elegance and luxury, and Eclipse captures a modern, premium aesthetic.

For the budget-friendly wine label, Dancing Diva, I wanted to create a fun, lively, and energetic design. The concept centers around a disco theme, incorporating a shimmering disco ball as the focal element. To show its glow, I added sparkling star outlines that emphasize that it’s sparkling. The background features a gradient of purple, transitioning from deep purple at the top to a lighter shade at the bottom, making the disco ball stand out. The typography is playful and engaging, relating the wine's association with celebration and party vibes.

Low-Level Wine Label

My mid-tier wine label, Masquerade, gives off elegance. The primary design element is a golden mask, symbolizing mystery and luxury. I chose a deep red background to complement the gold, creating a nice contrast that elevates the design. The typography is more refined and minimalistic compared to Dancing Diva. I strategically used white for key text elements and the rest to the same gold as the mask, to enhance readability and hierarchy, ensuring they stand out against the background. This label balances boldness and refinement, making it appealing to an audience seeking a more luxurious yet accessible wine.

Mid-level Wine Label

For the premium label, Eclipse, I embraced a minimalist and modern approach. The design features a circular shape surrounding the word "Eclipse," with the circle intentionally left open at the ends to create an abstract look. Unlike the other two labels, this design is smaller and less illustrative, emphasizing simplicity and exclusivity. The color palette consists of black for the logo and a dark red typography, set against a light khaki background with a textured paper effect. This contrast enhances the premium feel of the label, giving it a high-end, sophisticated appearance. The minimalistic design creates a sense of luxury and modernity, making it ideal for a premium wine experience.
