In this project, I redesigned the packaging and logo of a Japanese mochi brand, Yuki & Love. The original packaging was outdated and inconsistent, with a logo that needed to be simplified. My redesign focused on creating a modern and unified look. I used a simple font with a rounded font for the logo, conveying a soft and approachable vibe. I also used vibrant colors to match each flavor- mango, strawberry, and matcha so that every package was distinct yet part of a cohesive series. Mochi is soft, delicate, and joyful, which I try to convey into the design through soft shapes, typography, and drawn illustrations that give the packaging a playful yet professional look. I wanted every box to feel consistent yet still offer something unique to represent its flavor. Overall, this was a fun and valuable project that helped me grow as a designer.
